The number one cause of hydraulic system failure is contamination. Hydraulic flushing rigs help to eliminate this problem and as such is a key element of care and maintenance of all hydraulic systems.

Flushing the system with hot hydraulic fluid at varying rates of flow contaminants, including debris that has built up and may be stuck in the pipes, is effectively removed from the system. It is vital to the long life of your hydraulic system that it is flushed before its first use – this is to remove any debris left over from production and transportation.

Flushing a hydraulic system once contaminants have been detected through testing can help prevent them from getting into the hydraulic components that cannot be cleaned through the flushing process such as the cylinders, valves, motor and pumps. If these parts are contaminated they will need to be removed for cleaning.

Types of Hydraulic Flushing Systems

Custom Hydraulic Flushing Rig

Our team of expert engineers can design a custom hydraulic flushing rig to suit you and your hydraulic systems needs. These are especially popular among our customers whose hydraulic systems work under extreme pressure or in challenging environments. Get in touch to discuss your requirements.

Standard Flushing Rigs / Systems

We stock a range of ‘off the shelf’ flushing rigs and systems which can be delivered from our premises in Derby to you.

Integrated Flushing and Testing Rigs

With a particle analyser included, these free-standing flushing and testing rigs test for contaminants and flush through any debris, dirt, water and other potentially damaging contaminants.

Stand-alone Test Stands

To test a hydraulic system’s pressure, flow, temperatures, speed and contamination levels stand alone test stand does the job. It is made up of an open console, drive section and sink cart.
